From our pasture to your plate
Ever purchase beef directly from a farm? Here's exactly what happens — from deposit to freezer.

1
We raise your beef
Beef grows up on 165 acres of Appalachian pasture in Piney River, Virginia. Grass-fed, open land, no feedlots, no hormones, no unnecessary antibiotics. Just cattle raised the right way by a family who stakes their name on it.
2
Place your deposit
Reserve your quarter, half, or whole cow with a $100 deposit online. We handle the rest.
3
Freezer Camp
Every animal is dry-aged 21-28 days, then cut to exact specs, vacuum-sealed, and labeled by cut.
4
Pickup in Greensboro
We'll contact you with your pickup date, time, and location in Greensboro, NC. Bring a cooler. Your beef will be fully frozen and ready to go straight into your freezer. Full balance is due at pickup.
5
Stock your freezer
Your freezer is stocked with 3–12 months of the best beef you've ever tasted. Most of our customers reorder before they run out. Once you've had Drawbars beef, grocery store beef just doesn't cut it.
